Hi, so glad you’re here!
My name is Megan, but most call me Meg. I’m a naturopathic doctor who recently relocated to Bend, Oregon. For those of you who know the area, I assume there’ll be little to no questions about why I chose the spot. For those unfamiliar, it’s an oasis of a place that has all four seasons, the loveliest of humans, and allows me to easily indulge in my fave extracurriculars - mountain biking, hiking, & snowboarding.
As for the important things, I received my medical training at the National University of Natural Medicine. It is a 4-year accredited program that provides extensive training in basic sciences (anatomy & physiology, biochemistry), conventional medical practices (medical diagnosis, medication management, minor surgery), and alternative healing modalities (nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy).
Naturopathic doctors are gifted with a wide variety of tools ranging from nutrition to pharmaceuticals, allowing us to choose what makes most sense based on individual goals and preference. I strive to use the simplest interventions when I can, but I never hesitate to recommend medication when it’s the safest option for a patient. The beauty of naturopathic medicine is that we respect individual uniqueness, steering clear of the one-size-fits all approach.
My practice is open to men, women, & children of every age. I find medicine and the body fascinating, so love it all! I’m passionate about all things relating to women’s health, so get particularly excited to help patients overcome common issues such as heavy/painful/irregular periods, PMS, recurrent vaginal/urinary infections, PCOS, endometriosis, thyroid disorders, & fertility struggles.
I have my own health story, so know exactly what it’s like to feel frustrated, anxious, confused (fill in the blank with all the feels) about the symptoms you’re experiencing. You know what health health feels like and this isn’t it. Maybe you know exactly how you ended up here - hello pandemic stress. Or maybe you could use some outside perspective to put the pieces together. I’m here for that, and here for you!

Safety
Discussing health frustrations can be a vulnerable experience. My goal is to create a safe space so that you can bring your worries to the table without hesitation.
Teamwork
It’s important to me that you feel like we’re on a team, so that we can work together to achieve your health goals.
Communication
I’m always open to feedback about what is and isn't working. Everyone has different preferences - some can’t stand taking supplements in liquid form, while others prefer that over swallowing pills. I want to learn what’s best for you!
